Performance facility complements the Phase I Education facility in
organizing and providing instruction and performances for the community.
The theater will host performances in drama, dance and music as well as
lectures and public meetings.
The Phase II facility consists of a 23,500 square foot single story
building which includes a 375-seat theater and stage with rigging,
lighting and fly loft, scene construction shop, costume shop, orchestra
pit, art gallery, box office and concessions area, dressing rooms, a
green room and administrative, storage and support spaces.
Exterior development includes an approximately 10,000 square foot plaza
area and parking for an additional 120 cars. The facility has been
designed and programmed with substantial input from citizens on the
Southwest Fulton Arts Center Advisory Group, and potential performance
organizations from the surrounding community and metro Atlanta area.
